Build n Share 41 : Mrs Luckys' Day Care Centre

Announcing the grand opening of a new community daycare centre for children of all ages. Consists of three main rooms, one for babies and toddlers, one for children and one for teens. Each room has a rest area, eating area, learning area and play area. There is also an office for the director, a waiting room, a staff room, communal kitchen. Outside the playground is completely fenced, access only through the main building. There is a play area with swings and jungle gyms, two pools - one for the babies and toddlers and one for the teens - the pools are additionally fenced for saftey. There is also a large sandpit, although burying the staff is not appreciated. A covered picnic shelter affords space to eat with great view over Sunset Valley. There is also a chess area and a lawned space for running around in.

Communal Childrens/Teens Bathrooms, one for the Girls and one for the Boys.

One of the two (identical) staff bathrooms and the toddlers/babies bathroom. It would have been nice to have the sims2 changing table in here.

The kitchen provides healthy food for all ages and little fingers are protected by safety railing and a gate only the staff can open.
Somewhere for the staff to chill out when on thier breaks.
This is the Babies & Toddlers room, with cribs for those ever important naps, high chairs for feeding time, toys and space for general play and lots of xylephones and logic boxes to build up those early skills.
This is the childrens room. View is from the play corner showing the learning zone, with computers, desks and a book case. On the right you can see the tables where they can eat.
The other end of the childrens room, where you can see the rest area, with a small stereo, and also the play area with multiple toy boxes, an activity table and a small play stove.
The teens room, from the rest area. They have a small tv to watch and a stereo for a little music. In the play area they have a football table. Am sure in future that a few dart boards would go down well, as would a pinball machine. They have an eating area over the other side of the room also.
This view of the teens room shows a part of the learning area, there is another desk set, with computer, and a second bookshelf just out of shot. You can also see the other side of the rest area.
Each of the rooms, and the main  reception, lead out onto this courtyard. This means that there is no need to move through the babies or childrens rooms to get to the teens room or the kitchen - there are doors inside between the rooms as well.

At night all of the paths are well lit.

On one side of the building there are two pools. The smaller for the babies & toddlers and the larger for children and teens. There is also a changing block with rest rooms. The showers are outside however (brrrr).
At the back of the building are swings and two jungle gyms. Soft mulch undeground should cushion any falls.
There is a large sandpit, and a covered picnic area, with its own lighting.
The chess zone. Four tables, each slightly sheltered from the other. There is a street lamp in the centre of the planting around the tree to give plenty of light for those long games. A lawn area beyond gives the opportunity for free style running around, or a quick game of football.
There is plenty of parking out front for both staff, parents and any lucky teens who have a car.
