2 bed, 2 bath bachelor pad with 6 car garage, parking for 8 cars in total, entrance hall/atrium, kitchen diner, study and media room.

Entrance Hall :

Above the entrance is the study :

Which has doors to the kitchen and both bedrooms.

The bedrooms are basically mirrors of each other :

As are the Bathrooms :

Here's a look at the garage after Lawrence moved in with his car collection :

The cars are blocking the view of his workbench and sink off to the right.

Here are some exterior shots of the back of the house, showing a couple of outdoor parking spaces where guests can park, or where Lawrence can work on them outside on a sunny day :

Plan view, 1st Floor :

1 Bed, 1 Bath industrial style brick and steel loft apartment with Art studio, Open plan Kitchen, Living, Dining and Study area. Also features covered parking for 2 cars, easy maintenance garden (;)) and balcony.

Main Room :

 Taken from the front door, you have the kitchen off to the left, desk in the distance and the tv viewing area on the right.

Closer view of the kitchen, with dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, the coffee maker is just out of shot on the counter to the left and the fridge is behind you.



Bedroom :

High specification bedroom with door out to the balcony, endtables, dresser and a super comfy bed for that all important nights sleep.


Bathroom :

Everything you could possibly need to take care of your hygiene needs. Mirror is above the sink to the right.


Art Studio :

Spacious studio with room for three easels, large windows for plenty of light and inspiring views.


Our city girl Raine wanted high celings, as you can see from this shot, the ceilings in the room go all the way up to the roof :

This is the case in all of the rooms.




Raine moved in a few days ago and has been enjoying her new abode. Here you can see some of the paintings she has put together :

Downsized!

Wanted - 3bed, 1.5ba, Open Plan ground floor in neutral colours. 2 childrens bedrooms, one in organge, one in pink, Adults bedroom in blue.Yard for the children to play in, with room for mum to grow things in also.

Ground Floor :

Fully open plan with study area, tv area, dining area and kitchen. Small /5 bath tucked in behind the stairs.

First Floor :

Large hallway/landing, family bathroom, 3 bedrooms.

Yard:

A bit bare for the moment, but has plenty of room for running around and vegetable patch just waiting to be planted.

Bathrooms :

Half bath downstairs, full family bathroom upstairs.








Childrens Rooms :

Gina loves orange and anything piratey,

whist Cara prefers pink.

Both May and Dan love blue in all it's shades.

Build n Share 43 : Mr McGregors Farm

The farm occupies the corner of a 40x40 lot. A wooded lane runs alongside and behind the farm and in the corner, a large sandy bank is topped by spruce trees. Perfect for a rabbit warren or two.

 


The Lane

Overview of the cottage.

Country style kitchen, with an old fashioned hatch through to the lounge. The sink overlooks the garden.

Another view of the kitchen.

John is relaxing in the lounge, it looks a little old fashioned, but he's typically so busy in the garden that he never gets around to decorating the house.

 Here's the other view of the living room. The desk is where John plans which crops he is going to plant next season.

 Bedroom. Oops, looks like I forgot a set of curtains....

This shows the dressing area, and the bathroom door.

The bathroom -

a perfect place to soak after a long day in the garden.

The garden. Lots of lovely lettuces, tomatoes, onions and potatoes. John also grows watermelons, garlic, peppers and lime trees. Good job there's a nice high fence.

Uhoh... Looks like there's a fence panel missing behind the shed. Peter will find this garden more than a little tempting.

And speakind of shed's, here's the inside view. Plenty of space for potting up saplings ready to plant.
